Live from London - the now firmly established vocal festival founded in 2020 during lockdown by the VOCES8Foundation - has announced its fifth season.

'LIVE from London - Christmas 2021' will begin on December 4, and feature 13 concerts from a star line-up of ensembles including the King’s Singers, I Fagiolini, the Gabrieli Consort and Players, Stile Antico, Apollo5 and of course VOCES8 itself. Soloists appearing thoughout the season include soprano Mary Bevan, countertenor Tim Mead, and violinists Jack Liebeck and Rachel Podger, plus actors Richard Leaf and Tamsin Greig.

As usual, many concerts will come from the VOCES8 Centre - a beautiful Wren church in the City of London - though this season will also see performances filmed in St Martin-in-the-Fields, Lutyen's St Jude-on-the-Hill in Hampstead Garden Suburb, and St Olaf College, Minnesota. Repertoire throughout the season ranges from early music to contemporary, including world premieres by Bob Chilcott and Adrian Peacock.

Once again, Gramophone is proud to be a media partner - follow us on social media to watch some exclusive advance performance videos during December.

Season tickets start at £80 for the first 9 concerts up to Christmas Day, or £115 for all 13 (the final concert is January 6), while single tickets can be bought for £12.50: Buy tickets here.
